Meet Your Designer...
Brenda Anderson is an award-winning Interior Designer and Allied Member of ASID in Overland Park, KS. Her interior design firm is built on referrals and returning clientele as families have grown and needs have changed. Her clients appreciate her ability to listen to their needs and create a design that increases the functionality of their home with an aesthetic that reflects their personal style. In addition to interior design work, she is a wife, mom, and artist. You'll often find her trusty sidekick, Maggie, a chocolate labradoodle, along for the ride.
Brenda is a Certified Living In Place Professional (CLIPP), thru the Living In Place Institute, making homes accessible, comfortable and safe.
She also does volunteer outreach as a Certified Savvy Giving by Design (SGBD) Pop-Up Designer. As a Pop-up designer, she works with Midwestern Make-a-Wish Chapters and non-profits, to create healing spaces for recovering children and families primarily in the Kansas City area.
Brenda graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. After enjoying careers in Commercial Underwriting and Marketing, she pursued an additional degree in Interior Design. She designed interiors for residential and boutique commercial clients with a design firm in Omaha, NE. After living across the U.S., following her husband's military career of 24 years, the family returned home to the Kansas City Metro area where she established Interior Elements and Design.
